🌯 Chatpata Aloo Roll (Kids Friendly Tiffin Recipe)

🧺 Ingredients

  • πŸ›’οΈ Oil – 2 tsp
  • 🫚 Ginger – ΒΌ inch, finely chopped
  • πŸ§„ Garlic – 3–4 cloves, finely chopped
  • 🌢️ Green chilli – 1, finely chopped
  • πŸ… Tomato – 1 small, chopped
  • 🟒 Green peas – 2 tbsp
  • 🌢️ Red chilli powder – ΒΌ tsp
  • 🟑 Turmeric powder – β…› tsp
  • πŸ‹ Amchur powder – Β½ tsp
  • πŸ§‚ Chaat masala – Β½ tsp
  • πŸ§‚ Salt – as per taste
  • πŸ₯” Potato – 2, boiled and mashed

πŸ«“ Other Ingredients

  • πŸ«“ Cooked chapati – 2
  • πŸ… Tomato ketchup – 2 tbsp
  • πŸ₯› Mayonnaise – 2 tbsp
  • 🧈 Butter or oil – for roasting
Palak Matar

Method

  1. πŸ”₯ Heat oil in a pan over medium flame.
  2. πŸ«šπŸ§„πŸŒΆοΈ Add ginger, garlic, and green chilli. SautΓ© briefly until aromatic.
  3. πŸ… Add chopped tomato and cook until soft.
  4. 🟒 Add green peas and cook for 1–2 minutes.
  5. πŸŒΆοΈπŸŸ‘πŸ‹πŸ§‚ Add all spices and salt. Mix well.
  6. πŸ₯” Add boiled and mashed potatoes. Mix thoroughly.
  7. ⏱️ Cook for 2–3 minutes until the mixture becomes dry. Switch off the flame.
  8. πŸ«“ Place a cooked chapati on a flat surface.
  9. πŸ…πŸ₯› Spread tomato ketchup and mayonnaise evenly.
  10. 🌯 Add the prepared aloo filling and roll tightly.
  11. 🧈πŸ”₯ Roast on a tawa until light golden and crisp on all sides.
