Instant Misal Pav Recipe (Ready in 10 Minutes)

  • Oil – 4 tsp
  • Mustard seeds – Β½ tsp
  • Cumin seeds – Β½ tsp

  • Heat oil in a pressure cooker.
  • Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
  • Add cumin seeds, hing and curry leaves.
  • Add finely chopped onion and sautΓ© until soft and translucent.
  • Add salt to taste, after few mins add red chilli powder and besan.
  • Mix well and cook for 1–2 minutes on low flame to remove raw besan taste.
  • Add sprouted matki and mix so the masala coats the sprouts evenly.
  • Add the entire misal masala packet and mix well.
  • Add water as needed to form a medium consistency gravy.
  • Add salt to taste.
  • Close the pressure cooker and cook for 5–6 minutes.
  • Turn off the flame and allow pressure to release naturally.
