Palak Matar
Ingredients
- π₯¬ Spinach β 500 g
- π
Tomato β 1
- π§
Onion β 2 medium
- π’ Green peas β 1 cup
- πΏ Kasuri Methi
- π° Cumin & Jeera seeds
- π§ Turmeric, Chilli, Salt
- β¨ Dhaniya, Garam Masala
Method
- π₯¬ Boil spinach for 3 minutes.
- βοΈ Strain the spinach and immediately transfer it to cold water.
- π Grind the spinach into a smooth puree.
- π₯ Heat 4 tablespoons of oil in a pan.
- π° Add cumin seeds and jeera seeds.
- π§
Add finely chopped onions.
- β¨ SautΓ© until the onions turn golden brown.
- π§ Add gingerβgarlic paste and roast for 1 minute.

Add one chopped tomato and cook for 3 minutes.

π§ Add Β½ tsp turmeric powder, Β½ tsp coriander powder,
1 tsp red chilli powder, and Β½ tsp cumin powder.
- π’ Add 1 cup green peas and cook for 3 minutes.

πΏ Add salt to taste, spinach puree, kasuri methi,
Β½ cup water, and Β½ tsp garam masala.
Cook for another 3 minutes and serve hot π
